RAMIN GANESHRAM is a veteran journalist and noted food writer/cookbook author. She was the founding editor of canvas a sustainable lifestyle magazine in the New York area. In addition to holding seven journalism awards for her feature writing with The New York Times and others, Ganeshram wrote for Newsday for eight years as a Food Section feature writer and columnist.
